Campaigns and Events
Coca-Cola & Regal Films
The campaign plan outlines strategies and tactics used to compete for the Fan Favorite Award in the Coca-Cola and Regal Films competition. As assistant campaign manager, I planned strategy, events, and creative BTS content to drive votes on social media.
Ketchum Mind Fire
100 Steps of Responsibility: Ketchum, an award winning PR agency, posts creative challenges for students at over 50 universities. Participants share creative solutions for businesses in need of fresh ideas. In the spring of 2017, I won $100 for my winning idea "100 Steps of Responsibility." See the prompt here.
Fund for Excellence
The proposal requests funding for the Fund for Excellence grant. Each year, Phi Beta Kappa (honors society) funds an intellectual or cultural event on campus that promotes the liberal arts. My partner and I plan to submit our proposal in the spring of 2019.
Media Relations
Email and Phone Pitch
Press Release
Trinity Lutheran v. Comer: By providing a go-to resource in advance, I prepared journalists for the upcoming court decision release. As a result, I acquired several interviews with local reporters for the Show-Me Institute.
Blog Posts
IHOB
IHOB: IHOP re-focused its marketing efforts from flipping pancakes to flipping burgers in hopes of earning a seat at the lunch and dinner table. But was the flip to IHOb a flop? This blog post from my internship with RLF Communications explores the successes and failures of the campaign.
Live Oak Communications
RXBars: The blog post explores RXBar branding and its 2018 anti-ad campaign featuring Ice-T as the sponsor. Several elements of the marketing mix effectively target GenZ.

Gifted Programs and School Choice (Unpublished)
School Choice: The blog post explores the relationship between low-income students, potential, gifted programs, and school choice. Though I did not have time in my Show-Me Institute internship to finish the editing process, I managed to complete my research and write several drafts.

Research
Find me on social media!

UNC Greensboro Editorial Calendar Research: I surveyed a variety of outlets for potential editorial opportunities for the UNC Greensboro account while interning with RLF Communications. The document includes publication descriptions, circulations, editorial calendars, and potential opportunities. My account reviewed the document with the client.

Published research in the Elon Journal of Undergraduate Research: Coming soon!

Avery's Floor Mats Report: My team and I examined and evaluated the company's website design, usability, content, and social media presence. The report includes results of a usability test and provides the client with recommendations. I specifically chose this company for the class assignment so my mother's company could make use of the recommendations.

Focus Group Moderator Guide and Presentation: As an account executive for Live Oak Communications, I wrote a moderator guide and led a focus group. The focus group participants consisted of Elon undergraduate students consisting of different ages and majors. My team conducted the research to determine what language related to wellness best resonates with students. The Dean of Students used the feedback to effectively implement Elon's wellness initiative.

Videography
Citrus Solution Commercial: As part of a group project, I created a commercial for a fictional product. I wrote the script, assisted in filming, played a role designed to resonate with the target market, and edited the video with Adobe Premiere.
Serengetee Promo Video: As a brand representative, I created content that associated company apparel with an adventurous lifestyle. I edited the short film with iMovie.
International Student Documentary: I co-directed and co-edited this film using Adobe Premiere. The video features a talented communications major and how her ability to speak in several languages will contribute to her professional career.
PhotoShop, PowerPoinT, Pages
